Built around the paddle-raise minute
A fundraising gala has a beat the AV has to support exactly: walk-in cocktails, seated dinner, honoree video, paddle-raise, after-dinner program, dance set. We staff that beat with senior front-of-house audio, an operator who has rehearsed the honoree video at level, a video tech driving the donation thermometer in real time, and a producer talking to the auctioneer and the host committee throughout the night.
Lighting is designed to the room: uplights tuned to brand color, pin-spots on centerpieces and the lectern, and stage washes that read on camera so the post-event reel and the annual-report photography are usable without a re-shoot.
Fashion-for-a-cause and runway fundraisers
Galas with a runway component, fashion-for-a-cause, a designer trunk show for a foundation, an honoree walk across the room, are part program, part runway show. The same team that runs the speaking program also runs the runway cues, the model-walk audio, the brand screen at the head of the runway, and the camera capture so the cause partner and the brand partner both get the photos and clips they need that week.
